DAY 8 - AUGUST

1.We are praying against untimely death; we shall see the beginning and the end of 2026 and no one in our family or friends shall be missing. Nor shall we see death in anything that concerns us physically, mentally, morally or otherwise in Jesus Name, Amen.

2. Pray for an overflow of abundance in the month of August. We will experience surplus above the perfect seven meaning, that which is in excess, or over and above, or overflowing. All of this will be happening to you and your family in every area of your life in Jesus Name Amen.

3. Pray for Divine wisdom knowledge and understanding in all that you do, and that God will give us a clear mind. In knowing, understanding and in wisdom to do, just as the bible says, in all you do get understanding. May God who gives generously without judgement, give us, in Jesus Name, Amen.

MEDITATE & PRAY ON PSALM 27 <3

Looking to the Jewish Calendar…

‘During the month of Elul, Jewish people focus on introspection, repentance, and forgiveness. It is a time to review one's actions over the past year, seek forgiveness from others, and make amends. The blowing of the shofar (ram's horn) each morning during Elul serves as a reminder to wake up and repent before the Day of Judgment.

While Elul is a solemn and reflective month, it is also a time of hope and renewal. Jewish people use this time to prepare themselves spiritually for the High Holy Days and to seek forgiveness and reconciliation with others. It is a time to set intentions for the coming year and to strive for personal growth and improvement.'

Elul is a time to grow in wisdom, to reflect with understanding upon one's standing within the framework of God's mercy and justice. Spiritual reflection associated with the preceding month, Av, pictures God as having retreated within a concealed inner sanctum—a reflection, in fact, of human distancing and withdrawal from God. Elul becomes a time to make good, to reflect, to advance in wisdom (through understanding [binah]), and to begin setting things to rights—the beginning of the "teshuvah" process.

Reaching out to others during Elul helps to create a sense of unity and shared purpose. By repairing relationships and seeking reconciliation, individuals contribute to a more harmonious community environment as the High Holidays approach. This communal aspect of Elul reinforces the idea that spiritual growth and renewal are not solitary endeavors but collective efforts that benefit from mutual support and understanding.
